The following is demonstrated on the iPad, but Netflix can be used on a variety of game systems, online, iPhone and Windows Phone
The Netflix app for the iPad is quite versatile, given the fact that it runs on a tablet. Most of what you can do with a movie on your computer you can also do on the iPad. You just need to know where to tap to make it happen.
Let’s take a look at some of the things you can do when playing movies on the iPad:
Play/Pause: The play/pause button lets you stop and start the movie without losing your spot.
Volume Control: To raise or lower the volume, slide the control right or left respectively:
Forward/Rewind: Use the slider at the top to forward/rewind to another screen. You can also rewind exactly 30 seconds using the 30-second button.
Resume Movie: If you have to stop a movie and want to come back to it later, you can resume it from your home screen:
Recently Watched: If you’ve stopped a show and watch something different, your recently watched movies can also be seen from your home screen:
Subtitles: If a movie has subtitles available (most do not currently), there will be a word balloon next to the play button. Tap this and you’ll get a menu showing you subtitle options. Tap the one you want.
