Broccoli Recipe: Stir fry With Ginger and Soy

So many flavors mix well with broccoli. This broccoli recipe mixes ground ginger and soy sauce in a stir fry dish that goes well with pork or chicken. It will make a pretty green broccoli dish to liven up your dinner table.

Serves about 5 – 6 (as side dish)

Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs broccoli, cut into florets and stems sliced diagonally
1 tbsp ground ginger
2 tsp brown sugar
1 ½ tbsp dark sesame oil
2.5 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp water
Toasted sesame seeds

Instructions:
Combine the soy sauce, sugar and ground ginger.

Heat the sesame oil in a large frying pan and stir-fry the broccoli until almost tender (about 5 minutes), then add the soy mixture and water. Simmer for a few minutes, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve immediately as a side dish to pork or chicken.
