How to Bake Salmon in the Oven in Foil

Baking foil-wrapped salmon in the oven is super easy and there are so many different things you can do with it. You can use the seasoning you like, top it with different sliced vegetables or fruit and more.

Here’s the salmon I baked in foil the other day, getting ready for the oven.

Foild baked salmon

Salmon on foil, getting ready for wrapping and baking.

Ingredients:

  • Salmon fillet
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lemon slices
  • Sliced onion
  • Slice tomato
  • Crushed garlic
  • Olive oil

How to Make It:

I didn’t put any quantity for the ingredients because this isn’t really a specific recipe. Use the seasoning you like, the portions you need and the vegetables you prefer.

Anyway, preheat your oven to 400 F.

Get a sheet of foil that is large enough to fold over and seal your salmon fillet. Place the fillet in the middle. Sprinkle the salt and pepper to taste. Place the lemon slices, tomato, onion and garlic over the salmon. Drizzle with olive oil.

Fold the foil over the salmon and crease it, so it’s tightly closed. You want the steam inside the foil to cook your salmon.

Place it in the middle rack in your oven for about 25 minutes. Serve with vegetables, rice or whatever you’d like and enjoy.
