Recipe: Slow Cooker Kwanzaa Beef Stew

Serves 6

2 lb. beef stew meat, cut in 1 inch cubes
1 onion, diced
4 carrots, sliced
1 stalks celery, sliced
3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 1/2 cups beef broth
¼ cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. paprika

Place beef cubes into a slow cooker.

In a bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper and add to the meat. Toss well to coat the meat evenly. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir. Cover and cook on high temperature for about 4 -6 hours or on low temperature for about 10-12 hours.
