Rainbow Fruit and Vegetable Plate Ideas
We made this fruit plate for St. Patrick’s Day, but you can certainly make eating fruits and veggies more fun on any day with this cute arrangement.
There are so many possibilities with putting this plate together and whether you are completely authentic and do all 7 colors of the rainbow or just 5 or 6, it’s completely up to you.
Here are some ideas for the colors of the rainbow.
Red:
Strawberries, red peppers, radish, apples, huckleberries, raspberries, rhubarb, tomatoes and watermelon.
Carrots, orange pepper, oranges, cantaloupe, squash, peaches, papaya and apricots.
Yellow
Yellow tomatoes, yellow watermelon, yellow peppers, yellow apples, baby corn and pineapple.
Green
Celery, green pepper, avocado, green apples, peas, honeydew, kiwi, broccoli and zucchini.
Blue / Indigo / Violet
